Principal's Message 2012-2013 

Dear Parents and Community Members,

Hello, my name is Francine Stewart and it is my pleasure to serve as the Principal of Monte Vista Elementary School. I am very excited to be here since I attended kindergarten through 5th grade here many, many years ago.Our caring and professional teachers and support staff work very hard to provide students with a rigorous standards based academic program as well as enrichment activities.  Our excellent PTA provides a wealth of activities, events, and funding for classroom projects and field trips. We have many opportunities for you to volunteer and be a part of our school community.

May 29: Volunteer Tea

May 31: Awards Assembly

June 6: 5th Grade Promotion and Barbecue

June 7: Last Day of School (8:00-12:50)

Before School...

Before School: All students stay on the upper playground and when the first bell rings at 7:55 all students should freeze and melt. When the whistle blow all students should walk to their line.

All hallways near the classrooms are out of bounds.

AFTER 8:00 YOU ARE LATE!
